Here is one of the first videos I produced, shot, and edited.
A brief back story to this is...in 2003, we were having a big Halloween party. Instead of sending out the usual invitations, I decided to make a video invitation. Once the video was finished, a bunch of copies were made, and then a month before the party, we went around, literally in the middle of the night, and dropped off the tapes at the front door of the people who we were inviting. In the video, you'll see a girl reading the invitation. You'll here a narration of the invitation being read in the video too, but I'm not sure how well you'll here it. A copy of the paper invitation accompanied the video as well...so the people got to read the same invitation that the girl in the video was reading. The invitation looked like parchment and was slightly burnt on the edges, and was even sealed with wax.
I live in Florida, and didn't have access to a horse and carriage, so sound effects, and the back of an SUV (with someone bouncing up and down on the bumper) had to do.
Anyway..enough of me babbling. Please watch this short video invitation and let me know what ya think. Thanks for your time:)
