Aid on a Diy Halloween “costume”?

Problem by : Help on a Do it yourself Halloween "costume"?
I made my kitten Trixie some angel wings out of some skinny cardboard and shop acquired feathers. These turned out Really excellent! but now i can not seem to get the wings to stick to the strap that goes close to her ribs. i am utilizing the distinct straps that occur with most aide these days (it was the only point i could believe of). i experimented with putting paper close to the strap then hotgluing the cardboard element of the wing to the paper but the paper just ripped off... ANY tips??

I doubt people straps would be ample to support the wings. Consider producing the straps out of more cardboard. Like, 1 strap beneath her ribs and yet another strap about her neck or something. Type of like on of those substantial tech leashes. That way the wings will not likely drop off given that you would be gluing cardboard to cardboard
